Rodrigo Garcia (born 1959, Bogota, Colombia, son of Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez) is the acclaimed writer/director of “Things You Can Tell Just By Looking at Her”, which premiered at Sundance in 2000 and went on to win the Un Certain Regard division at the Cannes Film Festival that spring. He also wrote and directed “Ten Tiny Love Stories” and was one of three writer/directors of the Showtime Independent Feature “Fathers and Sons”. For HBO, Garcia has directed the pilots for “Carnivale” and “Big Love”, as well as episodes of “The Sopranos” and “Six Feet Under”.
