Que tan lejos (How much further)…. is Moscow far enough?
“Que tan lejos” is one of the films selected for the upcoming Moscow International Film Festival, to take place from June 21 to 30. Director Tania Hermida will be presenting the film.
Founded in 1959, the Moscow International Film Festival was originally held every two years alternating with Karlovy Vary during the Soviet period. It only became an annual event in 1999 and this year the festival is at its 29th edition.
“Que tan lejos” arrives in Moscow after an impressive tournée of festivals since it’s debut at the World Film Fest in Montreal in August 2006 where it won the Silver Zenith Award. In the last three months only, the film has reach audiences in places as distant as Dan Diego, Toulouse, Guadalajara, Philadelphia, Oaxaca, Austin, Monaco and Toronto.
